1. What Is the P2P Feature in Trust Wallet?

The P2P (peer-to-peer) feature in Trust Wallet lets you buy and sell crypto directly with verified sellers, using local payment methods you already know and trust — all from within your wallet.

Powered by Binance Connect, P2P trading is available in 150+ countries and supports 95+ local currencies, making it easier and safer to fund your wallet without relying on risky, informal deals.

Key Benefits

  • Trade directly with verified sellers
  • Use your local currency and preferred payment options
  • Stay non-custodial — you always control your funds and keys
  • No external chats, no intermediaries, no scams

Think of it as a built-in crypto marketplace, right inside your Trust Wallet — fast, safe, and fully decentralized.

2. How to Use P2P to Buy Crypto (Step-by-Step)

Before you begin, make sure you have the latest version of Trust Wallet.

Download or update Trust Wallet

Step 1: Open P2P in Trust Wallet

  1. Open your Trust Wallet app
  2. Tap Fund on the home screen
  3. Choose P2P as your funding method

Step 2: Choose Your Currency and Amount

  1. On the Buy with P2Ppage, select:
    • The currency you want to use (e.g., NGN, INR, IDR, USD)
    • The crypto you want to receive
    • The amount you want to buy
  2. Tap Continue

Step 3: Complete the Trade via Binance

  • Follow the on-screen instructions to connect to Binance Connect
  • Choose a verified seller
  • Complete your local payment securely
  • Once confirmed, your crypto will appear in your Trust Wallet balance

Example: If you’re in Indonesia, you can buy crypto using Indonesian Rupiah (IDR) with local bank transfers — no third-party chats or DMs required.

3. Why Use P2P in Trust Wallet?

For users across Africa, Asia, and beyond, crypto is more than just an investment — it’s access to financial freedom. But in regions where banking systems and card options are limited, buying crypto safely can be challenging.

Trust Wallet’s built-in P2P solves that by:

  • Removing the risk of scams from informal chat-based trades
  • Providing verified sellers and a secure environment
  • Integrating local payment rails you already use
  • Keeping your crypto self-custodial — only you control your keys

Whether you’re in Nigeria, India, Ghana, or Pakistan — P2P in Trust Wallet gives you a safe, simple, and local way to enter Web3.

4. Supported Countries, Currencies & Payment Methods

  • Availability: 150+ countries supported (and growing)
  • Currencies: 95+ local currencies, including NGN, INR, USD, EUR, GBP, IDR, and many more
  • Payments: Local payment methods vary by region (bank transfer, mobile money, UPI, etc.)
