This guide walks you through staking OSMO (the native governance token of the Osmosis network — a decentralized automated asset exchange, or DEX (Decentralized Exchange), designed for customized liquidity pools) using Trust Wallet.

Note: During the staking period, both your staked OSMO and any rewards generated remain locked. You will not have access to these funds until the unstaking process is completed.

Important: Staking and rewards are managed by Trust Wallet's partners. Trust Wallet does not control the staking rate, lockup period, or minimum staking requirement. Lockup specifics are determined by the OSMO Protocol itself.

Ensure you have the latest version of Trust Wallet: <a href="https://trustwallet.com/download" target="_blank" rel="nofollow noopener noreferrer">Download here</a>.

Open Trust Wallet and select Earn.

Choose the amount to stake and select a validator (or leave the default).

Review the details and tap Confirm to complete the staking process.

1. Open Trust Wallet and select Earn.

Note: After tapping Unstake, your OSMO balance will not be immediately reflected in your wallet. OSMO remains in a lockup period of approximately 14 days before it becomes available. When will I start receiving OSMO staking rewards?

OSMO staking rewards depend on the amount staked and network conditions. Your chance to earn OSMO rewards may vary accordingly.

How often are OSMO staking rewards distributed?

OSMO staking reward frequency depends on network conditions and the amount staked. Trust Wallet does not control the distribution frequency.

Is there a minimum reward amount required to claim OSMO staking rewards?

No minimum accrued reward is required to claim OSMO staking rewards. Once the lockup period ends, you will receive your staked OSMO along with any rewards.

The OSMO staking lockup period is 14 days after initiating the unstaking process.

Can I use my OSMO while it is staked?
