πŸ¦βž‘οΈπŸ‘› How to Deposit Crypto From a Centralized Exchange on Trust Wallet

Step by step guide on how to deposit crypto from centralized exchange

⚠️ Always verify the network before sending. Sending an asset to the wrong network results in permanent loss of funds. Confirm the network in Trust Wallet matches the network on the exchange.

Depositing crypto from a centralized exchange is simple and quick. Here is a list of well known crypto exchanges.

Step 1 β€” Tap Receive on your asset

From the Trust Wallet home screen, find the asset you want to receive and tap it. Tap Receive. If you don't see the asset, tap Manage crypto at the bottom of the home screen and enable it first.

Step 2 β€” Copy or share your deposit address

The Receive screen shows your deposit address and QR code for that network. Choose from:

  • Copy β€” copies the address to your clipboard. Paste it into the withdrawal field on your exchange

  • Share β€” opens your device's share sheet to send the address via any app

  • Set Amount β€” specify an amount before sharing

On your exchange, go to Withdraw or Send, paste your Trust Wallet address, select the matching network, and confirm.

Step 3 β€” Or use Deposit from exchange

At the bottom of the Receive screen, tap Deposit from exchange for Trust Wallet's integrated direct transfer feature. This guides you through connecting your exchange account without manually copying an address.

This feature is not available for all assets. If you don't see it, use the Copy or Share method instead.

What to check if funds haven't arrived

  • Verify the network on the exchange matched the one shown in Trust Wallet's Receive screen

  • Check the transaction status on the block explorer using the transaction hash from the exchange

  • Allow time for network confirmations β€” Bitcoin and Ethereum can take 30+ minutes during congestion

πŸ’‘ Double-check the first and last 4–6 characters of the address after pasting. Some malware replaces clipboard addresses with attacker-controlled ones.
