Why your passcode matters
Enabling App Lock prevents anyone with physical access to your device from opening Trust Wallet. The app locks automatically after 5 incorrect passcode attempts.
Critical: If you forget your passcode, the only way to regain access is to reinstall the app and restore your wallet using your recovery phrase. There is no passcode recovery option.
Step-by-step: setting up a passcode
Step 1 β Go to Security settings
Tap Settings β Security β toggle App Lock on.
Step 2 β Create your passcode
Enter your desired 6-digit passcode when prompted. Do not use a passcode you might forget β there is no reset without reinstalling.
Step 3 β Enable biometrics (optional)
Under Lock Method, choose between passcode only or passcode + Face ID / fingerprint. If Face ID is configured on your device, Trust Wallet will request permission to use it.
