What Is "Buy Any Token"?

"Buy Any Token" is a feature in Trust Wallet that lets you purchase a wide range of cryptocurrencies using fiat currency (government-issued money such as USD, EUR, or GBP) — including tokens not directly available for fiat purchase through standard providers.

"Buy Any Token" works by combining a fiat purchase with an automatic swap (an exchange of one token for another) into a single flow. This means you can acquire tokens on BSC (Binance Smart Chain — an EVM-compatible blockchain for fast, low-cost transactions), Solana (SOL), Base, and more, with fewer steps and without switching between platforms.

The feature is powered by Binance (a centralized cryptocurrency exchange) — swaps only occur after your fiat deposit is confirmed, keeping the process secure.

Key Benefits

  • Access a wider range of tokens: Purchase tokens that are not directly available for fiat purchase through standard on-ramp providers.

  • Simplified process: Go from selecting your desired token to final confirmation in one flow — no need to navigate multiple platforms.

  • Secure transactions: Powered by Binance's infrastructure. Your fiat payment is confirmed before any swap is initiated.

How to Buy Any Token — Step-by-Step

Before you begin: Make sure you are using the latest version of Trust Wallet and have a valid fiat payment method ready.

  1. Open Trust Wallet and tap Buy on the Home screen.

  2. In the search bar, enter the name or ticker symbol of the cryptocurrency you want to purchase — for example, "PEPE" or "JUP".

  3. Tap the token from the search results to select it.

  4. Choose your fiat currency (e.g. USD, EUR, GBP) and enter the amount you want to spend or the amount of the token you want to receive.

  5. From the list of available providers, select Binance.

  6. Review the purchase details carefully — including the token, amount, fiat currency, and any associated fees — before proceeding.

  7. Tap Buy to confirm. You may be redirected to Binance to complete the fiat payment. Follow the on-screen prompts to authorize the transaction.

  8. Wait for the transaction to complete — your token will arrive in one of two ways:

    • Direct purchase: If Binance directly supports the token, it will be sent to your Trust Wallet address as soon as your fiat payment is confirmed.

    • Automatic swap: If the token is not directly supported for fiat purchase, Binance first purchases a native blockchain token — for example, BNB (BNB Chain's native token) or SOL (Solana's native token). Trust Wallet then automatically initiates a swap of that native token for your desired token. A confirmation screen for the swap will appear after the initial purchase completes.

  9. Once the transaction and any swap are complete, your new tokens will appear in your Trust Wallet balance.

Troubleshooting

Insufficient funds Confirm that your selected fiat payment method has enough balance to cover the purchase amount and any associated fees before retrying.

Transaction taking longer than expected During periods of high network congestion (high on-chain activity that slows transaction processing), transactions may take longer to complete. Wait a few minutes and check your balance again before retrying.

Swap slippage When an automatic swap occurs, the final amount of tokens received may differ slightly from the estimated amount. This is caused by market price movement between the time the quote is generated and when the swap executes — a normal occurrence on DEX (Decentralized Exchange — a peer-to-peer marketplace for swapping tokens without an intermediary) platforms.

Transaction failed Check your payment method, internet connection, and available funds, then try again.
