Refund Process
If you believe you were affected by this security incident, you can submit a refund claim. All claims require the following documentation:
Valid government-issued ID — passport or driver's license showing your full name and facial photo (must not be expired). This information is used only to validate your claim and will be deleted after the process is complete.
Proof of wallet ownership (part 1) — a full screenshot of the Receive (Fund your wallet) QR code page for the relevant networks from the Trust Wallet mobile app or browser extension. Wallet addresses must match those listed in your claim.
Proof of wallet ownership (part 2) — a screenshot or email receipt showing the funding of the affected wallet from a CEX (Centralized Exchange) or onramp dated before December 24, 2025. The receipt must clearly show your name and the funded wallet address.
KYC (Know Your Customer) verification — a secure link will be sent from Trust Wallet's ticket system to a trusted KYC partner. Data is retained only for the period required by financial record-keeping regulations and then permanently deleted.
Police report (recommended) — helps speed up claim validation.
Claims submitted without all required attachments will not be processed.
