Understanding Trust Wallet and Account Deletion

Step-by-step Guide to Deleting a Wallet

Proceeding to delete a wallet from your device is a serious action. Please be aware that the removal of a wallet is irreversible, and a deleted wallet can only be restored if a backup is available. Always ensure you have a backup of your wallet before deletion.

Covered in this guide:

- Launching Trust Wallet

- Accessing Wallets

- Sliding to delete

- Confirming wallet deletion

- Wallet deletion success

Get Started:

Launch Trust Wallet and navigate to the 'Settings' option.

Accessing Wallets:

Once in the settings screen, select the 'Wallets' option which reveals all your existing wallets.

Proceed with Caution - Deletion:

Select the wallet you intend to delete, then click the three-dot icon on the right. This action will reveal a trash can icon for 'Delete Wallet.' Please ensure you have a backup of your wallet before deleting if you plan on restoring it in the future.

Confirming Deletion:

Tapping on 'Delete' proceeds to wipe the wallet off your device. This process is irreversible. However, should you have second thoughts, you always have the option to 'Cancel'.

Successful Deletion:

Upon following these steps, you now have successfully deleted a wallet. A deleted wallet, provided you have a backup, can always be restored.

Remember, you must keep a backup of your wallet before proceeding with deletion, as a deleted wallet can only be reaccessed via a backup. Once a wallet is deleted, it is irretrievable from our end.
