Event Markets is a feature within Trust Wallet that allows you to place on-chain predictions (bets using blockchain technology) on the outcomes of real-world events — from elections and sports results to crypto price milestones and financial indicators. It is accessible directly from the Trust Wallet app alongside features like Swaps, Perps (perpetual futures contracts), and Meme Rush.
You purchase tokenized YES or NO outcomes using funds already in your wallet — no additional deposits required. Trust Wallet acts as an aggregator, displaying markets seeded by integrated third-party vendors. You retain full self-custody of your assets at all times.
What Are Event Markets?
Event Markets is a decentralized platform for predicting outcomes of real-world events. Markets are seeded by trusted integrated vendors and displayed in real time with current odds, descriptions, and resolution timelines.

Event Markets displays dynamic listings with current odds, detailed event descriptions, and resolution dates updated in real time.

Buy or sell prediction shares instantly using assets already in your wallet, such as SOL (Solana) or BNB (BNB Chain).
Geofencing and compliance
Event Markets uses geofencing (location-based access controls) powered by Cloudflare's IP (Internet Protocol) detection to automatically filter the events displayed to you based on your location. This ensures you only see events that comply with your local regulations. For example, US users will see swaps.xyz options but not Myriad events due to regional restrictions. Always bet responsibly and verify your local regulations before participating.
On-chain mechanics
All prediction shares are tokenized (converted into blockchain-based tokens) and tradeable both before and after an event's resolution. Vendors manage market seeding and resolution. Trust Wallet acts solely as an aggregator and is not a custodian of your assets.
Mobile and web access
Event Markets is fully accessible on both Trust Wallet mobile apps (iOS and Android) and via web browser, with seamless wallet integration across platforms.
How to Use Event Markets
Step 1 — Access Event Markets
Open Trust Wallet.
Tap the Event Markets tab in the bottom navigation bar.
Your personalized event feed will load, filtered by your geographical location and chain preferences.
Step 2 — Place a prediction
Browse the event feed and tap an event that interests you — for example, "Will Bitcoin Hit $100K by Year-End?"
Choose YES or NO (or another option if the market is non-binary).
Enter the amount you want to allocate — for example, $50 in SOL (Solana) or BNB (BNB Chain).
Review the current odds and confirm your on-chain transaction.
Your tokenized shares will be added to your wallet immediately.
Step 3 — Monitor your positions
Tap Portfolio within the Event Markets tab to view your active positions.
Track real-time price updates, total position value, and profit/loss (P&L).
Optionally, set up notifications for significant market movements or upcoming resolution dates.
Step 4 — Exit your position
Before resolution: Sell your shares at any time. Pre-resolution sales are handled via AMM (Automated Market Maker — a protocol that provides liquidity without a traditional order book) or RFQ (Request for Quote — a process where you request a price from a liquidity provider).
After resolution: Redeem your shares for payouts based on the event outcome. A correct YES share redeems at $1.00; an incorrect YES share redeems at $0.

Available on BNB (BNB Chain) for users outside the US, Singapore, and the UK. Myriad offers a range of event markets across crypto and real-world outcomes.
Hyperliquid HIP-4 Outcome Contracts
Available natively on Hyperliquid L1 (Layer 1 — a base blockchain network). HIP-4 is Hyperliquid's native standard for prediction markets, supporting both binary (Yes/No) markets and multi-outcome markets (events with more than two possible results, such as daily BTC (Bitcoin) price range markets). Positions sit alongside your Hyperliquid perps (perpetual futures contracts) in Trust Wallet. No extra account or KYC (Know Your Customer) required. Trust Wallet currently charges zero platform fees, and Hyperliquid fees for outcome markets are currently zero.
Polymarket:
Polymarket events in Trust Wallet are tradeable using PUSD (Polymarket's own dollar-pegged stablecoin — deposits in USDC, USDT, ETH, BTC, SOL, and 17 other supported tokens are automatically converted on arrival)
Supported deposit chains: Polygon, Ethereum, Solana, Base, Arbitrum, BSC, Optimism, Tron, Bitcoin, Monad, HyperEVM, Abstract, and Ethereum
Not available to US residents — Polymarket is restricted in the US following a 2022 CFTC settlement. Check local regulations before trading.

All Event Markets trades are executed entirely on-chain using Solana or BNB Chain. Your tokenized prediction shares are stored directly in your wallet, meaning you retain full self-custody of your assets at all times. Trust Wallet connects you to these markets as an aggregator — vendors manage all market seeding and resolution processes.
Compliance is enforced through geofencing powered by Cloudflare's IP detection, audited for accuracy. Users only see and interact with events that are compliant in their region.
